Intelligent Electromagnetic Sensor Laboratories (iEMSL)

iEMSL Membership

In order to obtain access to the Intelligent Electromagnetic Sensor Laboratories, please follow the process below. If you have any questions about your application, please email us at iemsl@tamu.edu.

New Users:

  1. Read all iEMSL Lab Policies.
  2. Complete New User Access Application.
    • Scroll to the bottom of this page to submit your application for laboratory access.
    • For internal non-faculty applicants, your PI has to be an iEMSL Faculty member before you can apply. The only exception to that is if you are a TA for ECEN403/404.
    • For non-TAMU applicant, you will be contacted by email with further instructions for receiving laboratory access.
  3. Supervisor / PI Authorization
    • If you have a supervisor or PI, they will be notified by email to authorize your application and lab membership fees.
  4. Review and Approval
    • The Managing Director will review your application details. If there are any questions or issues with your access request, you will be contacted via email.
    • For faculty memberships, the executive committee has to approve your membership.
  5. TAMU Aggie Card Access
    • Your TAMU Aggie Card will be entered into the Weisenbaker Engineering Building security system. You will be notified by email once you have been granted key card access to open doors to the iEMSL.

Laboratory key card access will automatically expire at the end of the semester.
All users will be notified to reapply for membership in order to maintain/regain access.
