The instructional lab currently provides hands-on training in RF measurements. The lab will also be used to educate undergraduate students and provide workforce training in these emerging technologies and provide exposure to current trends in microelectronics. The lab is located in the Wisenbaker Engineering Building (WEB) room 167.
Microwave Solid-State Circuits and Systems (ECEN 453) course lab work will run in the undergraduate teaching lab.
The capstone courses (ECEN 403 & ECEN 404) will also run in undergraduate teaching lab. The capstone experience successfully prepares future engineers by bridging the gap between classroom and industry. Students are required to use their knowledge and skills to complete an engineering design project equivalent to the assignments they will soon receive as professional engineers.
