Electromagnetic Measurement Services & RF Lab Access

Whether you are a scaling start-up or an established research institution, iEMSL provides the precision and infrastructure needed to validate your technology. We offer two flexible pathways to help you achieve your testing goals:

  • Full-Service Measurement: Ship your device, antenna, or material directly to our lab. Our expert team will conduct the measurements to your specifications and provide comprehensive data reports.
  • Facility Access: For teams that prefer a hands-on approach, we offer direct access to our state-of-the-art facilities. Reserve time to utilize our advanced equipment and conduct your own specialized testing.

Option1: Measurement Services for Antennas, Materials, and Devices

The iEMSL provides a robust suite of measurement services designed to advance research and development in high-frequency electronics and electromagnetic sensing. Details are available here.

Antenna Measurement

The iEMSL offers precision antenna radiation pattern measurements using our state-of-the-art Fully Anechoic Chamber for a variety of antenna types. Visualize your antenna’s performance in both 2D and 3D, and gain valuable insights into beamwidth, gain, and directional coverage. For more information visit this page.

Material Characterization

Unlock precise electromagnetic properties of your materials with our advanced characterization services. Utilizing a combination of industry-leading commercial software and our own specialized tools, we deliver accurate control and extraction of critical material parameters tailored to your needs. S-Parameters and System-Level Testing

Characterize the performance of RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave components and systems. Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, our services cover frequencies from 300 kHz to 67 GHz, providing critical data for research and industry applications. For more information, visit this page.

Option 2: Self-Conducted Measurements (becoming a temporary member)

Gain full control of your testing with our flexible facility access. Whether you need a single day of data or a month of intensive R&D, we have a membership tier to fit your project timeline.

Membership Tiers: Daily or Monthly options available
Standard Access: Full use of facility and base infrastructure
High-Frequency Gear: Usage fees apply for equipment >10 GHz (VNA, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.)
Consultation: 2-hour mandatory setup/consultancy fee for all new sessions
Training: Range from 2 hours to 2 days (Customized to your expertise)
Support: On-site assistance available during your measurements is available

Rates

Membership Fees$300 per day
or $2500 per month
Training Fees/Setup Fee/Assisted testing$250 per hour
Equipment Usage Fees $50 per hour
Anechoic Chamber Assisted $500 Setup fee + $450/hour
or $4500/day

Usage Fees Applied to equipment >10 GHz (VNA, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.) in addition to membership fee. Minimum 1-hour charge per use. Use over one hour will be rounded to the nearest 15-minute increment. The Anechoic Chamber is available only with assisted operation.
