Anechoic Chamber Positioner Mounting

Securely mounting your antenna to the positioner in the anechoic chamber is vital for an accurate and reliable measurement. In order to facilitate proper mounting, we’ve included the following physical specifications and details about our positioning system.

Mounting Plate

The multi-axis positioner uses a PVC trapezoidal mounting plate to hold antennas at the correct height and range. The iEMSL has mounting frames which securely interface to the mounting plate. Alternatively, antennas can be mounted directly to the mounting plate without any interface through the use of three M16 threaded fasteners.

Standard Antenna Adapter

The iEMSL has standardized antenna adapters that are used for securely mounting most antennas to the multi-axis positioner. Designing your antenna such that it can interface with the threaded holes on the adapter can make for fast, reliable measurements in 3 dimensions without risk of damage to your antenna or our equipment.
